Southwestern Style Black Bean Toast

A black bean toast that's just as good as a late snack as it is in the morning.  

Note: This Whole Wheat Loaf recipe takes 2 hours to prepare, so if you think you’ll be in the mood for some quick toast, it’s best to prepare the loaf in advance. I try to make one each week, so that I always have a fresh loaf on hand.  This recipe can be doubled to create a second loaf, which will keep for a couple of weeks if refrigerated, and longer if frozen.
